Our New York, New York location is currently seeking a compositors with strong shot finishing skills for our upcoming episodic season.

Compositors will work in a team environment taking direction from the Creative Director, VFX Supervisor, and 2D lead on high volume episodic projects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Nuke Compositing experience from medium to large scale
  • Create high-level, photo real live-action composites using 2D, 2.5D, and/or 3D elements
  • Rig Removal, Green Screen Comp, Clean-up, Roto, Driving Comp, Monitor Burn, Set Extension, Muzzle flashes
  • Knowing and following all pipeline and studio policies and procedures
  • Advance to expert knowledge of Nuke
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Take part in daily reviews
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to take artistic direction
  • Ability to revise and address client notes as required

Pluses! 

  • Solid knowledge of CG integration with multi-pass EXR
  • Knowledge of projection, matte painting integration, CG integration, EXR integration
  • Excellent understanding of 3D multi-pass rendering techniques and color space concepts
  • Expert eye for color and composition
