BC, DevOps Engineer – On-Prem Cloud Infrastructure
About Zoic Studios
Zoic Studios is a visual effects company where creativity meets engineering. We’ve delivered award-winning visuals for film, television, and interactive media and we’re now evolving our infrastructure to meet the demands of next-generation content creation.
We’re transitioning from traditional on-prem compute to a cloud-native architecture built entirely on-prem using platforms like OpenNebula and Kubernetes. This means building scalable, automated, and secure systems that support massive rendering workloads, AI-enhanced pipelines, and real-time collaboration all without relying on public cloud providers. If you’re a DevOps engineer who thrives in hands-on environments and wants to help shape the future of creative infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
General Summary
As a DevOps Engineer at Zoic, you won’t just maintain systems, you’ll help invent them. We’re looking for a problem solver with a builder’s mindset, someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity. You’ll be instrumental in designing and evolving our on-prem cloud platform, working across infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines to ensure our systems are resilient, scalable, and optimized for high-performance creative workflows.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackle challenges that don’t have off-the-shelf solutions, and help shape the technical foundation that supports our artists and engineers. If you’re curious, resourceful, and excited by the idea of building infrastructure that powers world-class visual storytelling, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
